Candle Care and Instructions

I want to make sure that everyone uses their candles with safety. When following these tips, not only will it keep you and your family safe, but will also help keep your candle burning and smelling great longer.
  • Before burning your candle each time, make sure that the wick is trimmed to at least 1/4 inch.
  • Keep the melt pool free of debris or wick trimmings at all times.
  • Place the candle on a heat-resistant surface and away from all windows, drafts, air currents, and vents.
  • Burn for 3-4 hours every time. This will prevent uneven melting.
  • Never leave a burning candle unattended and do not burn while asleep. Extinguish all candles before leaving a room or going to sleep.
  • Never move a candle when the wax is still melted. Wait until it has fully cooled before touching or moving.
  • For safety purposes, extinguish a candle when there is 1/4 inch of wax still left in the vessel. Do not burn the candle all the way down.
  • Never burn a candle on or near anything that can catch fire. This includes furniture, drapes, bedding, carpets, books, paper, flammable decorations, etc.
  • Keep candles out of the reach of children and pets. Do not place lit candles where they can be knocked over by children, pets or anyone else.
  • Use a candle snuffer to extinguish a candle flame if available. Blowing it out could result in hot wax being sprayed outside of the vessel.
  • Never use water to extinguish a candle. This could cause the wax to splatter and/or cause the glass to break.
  • Always cover your candle after it is completely cooled. This will prevent any dust or debris from collecting on the wax's surface and causing a fire hazard. This will also ensure a great scent throw with each melt and extend the life of your candle.

I sincerely hope you enjoy your new candle!
